Does my Spinbrush® really spin?

There's a great reason Spinbrush® doesn't rotate all the way around. The head oscillates back and forth because circling in the same direction would cause Spinbrush® bristles to lean to one side. What’s more, a back-and-forth spinning motion helps extend the life of the bristles and provide a better cleaning.

What is the bristle softness of my Spinbrush®?

Spinbrush® for Kids features a combination of both soft and medium bristles. Spinbrush® Pro Clean and Pro Whitening are available with either soft or medium bristles. Pro Clean 2-Speed and Pro Clean Recharge are available in soft.

Do you make a replaceable Spinbrush® head with hard bristles?

All our replacement heads are only available up to a medium stiffness. We've developed the Spinbrush® to help you thoroughly clean your teeth. Using a hard bristle brush won't provide better cleaning and may cause gum irritation.

What are the bristles and body of my Spinbrush® made of?

Spinbrush® bristles are made of the same nylon that is used in virtually every toothbrush made today. The body of the brush is made of plastic.

Is Spinbrush® connected to the Dr. Johns Spinbrush®?

Yes, the Spinbrush® toothbrush was developed by Dr. Johns Products, Ltd.

My Spinbrush® has a different name. Is it the same brush?

The Spinbrush® product line was acquired by Church & Dwight from Proctor & Gamble in 2005. A name change was required after a set time period. While the name has changed the brush has not. You still get the same technology and superior cleaning performance from the #1 battery toothbrush on the market.

Some retailers may sell Spinbrush® products with and without the ARM & HAMMER® brand name until they replenish their stock.

How do I change the batteries?

To change batteries (all except Slim, Swirl, Pro Clean Recharge and Kids): Hold brush with the brush head pointing down and bristles facing to the left. Place thumb on dimple (indent) and press firmly upward. The battery cap should snap open. Replace with fresh alkaline batteries, making sure they are inserted according to diagram.
